Needed to sign in, keep the site secure and remember your choices. These cannot be switched off, and they do not track you.
Lets us use Google Analytics to count visits to the site while you are not signed in, so we can see how many people find us. It is off unless you switch it on. Google receives anonymous usage details such as the pages visited, roughly where in the world you are, and your device and browser type.
Your choice is stored in this browser only. If you clear your browser data, it resets to off.

Separately from cookies, we keep a simple daily count of visits to the public pages, using a one way code that is deleted after a day. It sets nothing in your browser and does not identify you. See the privacy policy.
That is the complete list. We do not use advertising networks or social media pixels. For more about how we handle personal information, see our privacy policy.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookie, you will not be able to sign in.
